Unfortunately at the time I did not know that they were underhanded in their dealings with thermatru. The door was a special order which took a few weeks to come in. I paid for professional installation through Lowes. This is where the fun begins. Lowes undercut Thermatru and installed a multipoint lock set they got from thermatru's own OEM supplier. Here we are 8 years later with a warranty issue and Thermatru is denying any warranty claims due to Lowes Installation of a non thermatru lock. Lowes is defrauding customers and misrepresenting the lifetime warranty. They refuse to assist in any way shape or form. Thanks for your money... Despicable and disgusting. I contacted this store location to speak to the general manager who went on to insult me stating I was asking for something for free... Unprofessional and sleazy behavior. Shop anywhere else. Stay away from Lowe's and thermatru.
