This Lowe’s is the worst Lowe’s in upstate ny. They’ve taken plumbing items from me and returned them to shelves without refunding me which they won’t show me proof but offered me 2 different amounts of money on what they stole from me. they’re extremely rude, last night I bought a brand new 5 gallon of primer, had them shake it. The guy handed it to me and on the backside, where the associate was, was a whole bunch of paint on the outside of the container. I didn’t see it, I grabbed it, brought it to the pro desk where I cashed out, got in my truck and realized I had paint all over me, my jacket and my jean. I went in and all the guy offered me was to load the same bucket in my truck. I said “that’s not going in my truck” and they were like “do you want a new one” I said , yeah and you guys need to at minimum pay for this dry cleaning or replace this whole jacket if that doesn’t work. The manager said “we don’t do that” I didn’t do this myself, if I caught my jacket somewhere and ripped it that’s on me, but nowhere in this entire store besides that oops rack is there open paint anywhere. I should have never been covered in paint, that’s the associates fault for allowing me to even leave the counter with the 5 gallon covered in paint splatter.

While we did not order or have anything delivered by Lowes today, we did have the joy of one of their delivery trucks smashing into our driveway this morning and crushing our culver pipe. How do we know it was them?
Well we watched it happen, tried to stop the two men who jumped out of to "check their truck over", but immediately got back and in and sped off... oh and WE GOT IT ON CAMERA.
We immediately called the local Lowes to report the issue and were told "if you cant provide us with a license plate, you can't prove it happened, sounds like you should call your home owners insurance." Actually, we called the cops and provided them with a video of them fleeing the scene, but thanks.
Yes, we... the home owners, who ordered nothing from you, and attempted to stop the men that damaged our property,....should be held accountable.
I feel bad for whoever had deliveries today, everything in that truck is most likely broken, but don't worry - the FINE folks of Lowe's customer service will most likely direct you to someone else who can fix it, because they clearly take no accountability.

Today I visited Lowes and upon getting to the self check out (no line, no waiting BTW), and without me even asking…I was immediately helped with the check out process by a young man by the name of “Tom”.( My inexperience must been obvious to him 🫣) I just want to publicly thank Tom for all his help..He did my checkout for me at lightning speed and was pleasant as well! These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
