    I went here a couple weeks ago and bought a DeWalt shop vac. I was impressed initially with the friendly staff and general cleanliness of the restrooms and layout of the floor. That changed when I had to return the vacuum I bought because it leaked. All I wanted to do was exchange it, but their return policy doesn't allow for that. Instead, they refunded me the amount I was charged for the first one, then I had to go grab another one of the floor and purchase it. So because they refunded me the money from the first one, that means it's not going in my bank for a few days, and then I had to pay again! After paying for the replacement vacuum (I bought the same exact model), I noticed that they charged me 10 bucks more than the first time! Keep in mind, it was only 1 week from the time I purchased the first one to the time I tried to exchange it. I went to customer service and they were nice enough to refund me the difference, but I don't think it's worth the hassle of having to buy another product every time you get a bad one. I won't be doing much shopping at Lowe's anytime soon.

    Ordered Flooring mid November to have it installed by Thanksgiving. Was assured it was in stock and a delivery date was set. When I called to see what hours they would be coming between they didn’t have me on their delivery list. No one called me. No one called to to notify me. I called them to inquire why and they told me it was out of stock. Said they would try and get it for me as soon as possible . I called regularly and they kept leading me on for months. Told me they were going to get it from another store and have it shipped to their store. Every excuse in the book to try and keep me from going elsewhere. I followed up several times and they never called me back . Come to find out they canceled my order in mid December and didn’t tell me. Here I sit with a $2300 Lowe’s credit balance. I do not want a Lowe’s credit balance I don’t even want a Lowe’s credit card nor do I want to ever shop at Lowe’s again!

    I purchased a washer and dryer at Lowe’s Hamburg (PA) and came back to return/exchange a previously purchased unit. Instead of processing a straight exchange, the store charged me as a new purchase (around $2,000) and took the unit I had already paid for—then left the charge sitting on my Lowe’s credit account. I had to call repeatedly with no resolution and finally denied the charge myself. The final straw was a manager telling me, “You seem to be buying a lot—maybe you should go somewhere else.” I will. This experience was frustrating and avoidable. Check your billing carefully if you shop here.
