- JRJohn Rivituso5 days ago5.0Purchased a whirlpool refrigerator from Lowe’s which was delivered to our home on April 29, after it was delivered we realized several chips were on the refrigerator handle. I attempted to contact Whirlpool customer service, (waiting as long as 45 mins without making contact with a representative). I decided to visit the CP Lowes store and explained the issue to several store associates and asked if they would contact whirlpool customer service regarding a replacement handle only to be told we don’t do that “it’s the customer that needed to contact them”. Their only option was to have a replacement refrigerator delivered. This to me was unacceptable and a waste of resources. I requested to speak with a store manager, explained the situation to the store’s assistant manager Erik Huepler, after explaining the issue to Erik he was extremely helpful and empathetic to helping us resolve this issue without having to replace the entire refrigerator. Erik spent 30 mins making calls on my behalf to Whirlpool customer service and was successful in getting them to send a replacement handle, instead of the cost of resending a replacement refrigerator. Erik really stood out to me, he listened to my concerns and took action. We are satisfied customers as a result of Erik’s help. I only wish others would have taken the initiative and spent the time to contact whirlpool on our behalf. Erik should be recognized for his professionalism and dedication to customer service. Great dealing with you Erik, thank you!!

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
