- MCM consultinggroup4 days ago1.0I had a very disappointing experience at the Lowe’s in Garden City, NY. Based on how I was treated, I would not recommend shopping at this location. When customers have an issue, managers should make an effort to help resolve it by reviewing the order, checking receipts, or looking up purchases made with a credit card. Instead, the manager I dealt with was rude, dismissive, and unwilling to assist. When I asked to speak with the store’s general manager, I was simply told, “1-800-Lowes.” That response was unprofessional and showed a complete lack of customer service. Because of this experience, I do not plan to shop at Lowe’s again.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
