UPDATE:
I am updating my review because the installers did a phenomenal job. The crew arrived on time and the communication with their team was great. The Lowe’s team can definitely do a better job at making sure that the customer is informed prior to attempting deliveries, especially with materials that if left outdoors can be damaged by rain or snow.
PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Horrible experience with doors installation. The communication is extremely poor with the store and the company doing the installation. Save your money and prevent the stress of working with such an inexperienced team. It’s a waste of time calling and taking to some many people to finally get the issue resolved. If you are getting a door installed why would the customer will need to get the items delivered when the installer can simply pick up everything at the store, doors and trim?

The most irritating experience I’ve ever had with buying an appliance. I walked into the store in colonie because I was in the area and saw the stove I’ve been wanting on sale. Afraid to miss a sale I asked the sales associate Dennis if it was possible to have them deliver the stove to Kingston NY or would it make more sense to order it online and have them ship to to Kingston. He told me that it was more than okay to have them deliver it, it didn’t matter how far it was and it was only going to cost $53 to have them deliver and install it. He tells me they will contact me within 24-48 hours. Days go by with nothing. Finally 9 days later I receive a call that the stove is ready for pickup by installer but that the delivery is out of their range and they are going to have to charge another HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS FOR DELIVERY. after I was told at the store that there was no extra charge for the longer distance.
We get that all squared away. We set a date for the stove to be delivered. I even get a text confirming delivery date and address. The day finally comes and at FIVE FIFTY IN THE MORNING. 5:50 AM . I get a call from the most insensitive and unapologetic manager Shawn who calls me to tell me the distance is too far and the stove won’t be delivered today. No apologizes , no opportunity to fix it or make things right. Just that it wasn’t going to be delivered and have a good day. Save yourself the headache with this store, it’s terrible staff and install team.

Construction and home improvement supplies I shop at Lowe's for most of the items, parts, fasteners, and tools to do most of the home repairs I encounter the items are of fair quality and the prices are low the associates are usually knowledgeable about the location of products and helpful I find the atmosphere peaceful with little difficulties I use the Lowe's website when finding products that I don't know where to look and that is usually correct with the isle and bay numbers the checkout is selfservice with an associate in the location to assist when needed and is usually offering help if a person would like I'm generally happy with Lowe's and there no hassle product return procedure
