    As of December 2025, I have to join with previous reviewer's neighborly plea to PLEASE STAY AWAY. I feel so foolish for giving this business the benefit of doubt of not being as shady and fraudulent as stated. I'm leaving a picture below of a faux shade produced by the Calico team. The diveting, rippling, and uneven folds took over 8 weeks and $1k to produce. To be clear, this was not how the shade was supposed to look nor how it was sampled and represented in store. They are not making any honest attempt to redo the work correctly and instead offered me a solution amounting to a bait & switch, i.e. oh, the divets and bad stitching won't happen if you install these rods. We can redo it but you have to pay for a whole new one, which will be more than what you originally paid. Stay away. If you really insist on going, leave your CCs behind, disable contactless payments. Avoid Fran Lofaro. Actually anyone working there. Please just don't go. *UPDATE* Regional manager Andrea has been in touch that shade will be redone in different workshop with quality assurance in the new year. We shall see, and I will keep updating as things progress.

    Having been a small business owner myself for several decades I try not to write poor reviews. Usually if I have nothing good to say, I just say nothing. However, this transaction was so egregious I felt I would be remiss if I did not let other potential customers know what to expect. First of all this store is very expensive, but their fabrics and workmanship is top quality as one would expect for the price you’re paying. I started the process with them for a number of window treatments in February and was promised an approximately 10 week turnaround. My order was only installed this PAST WEEK. It took 7 months with no communication from them after the order was placed that I did not initiate. There was no problems on my end with payments or anything else. I did not even inquire as to where my order was until 4 months had passed. I know that unforeseen circumstances can happen but I would think that for the prices they’re charging, you as the customer should be minimally affected and if you are they should communicate with you and keep you up to date. You should not have to chase them. To be completely fair this was my second time using them and my first transaction was very professional in every way. I had planned to place another order but this recent transaction left such a bad taste in my mouth that I’ve had to seriously reconsider it. Buyer be ware.

    Just stay Away. This is a real review from two business professionals. We only purchased 8 rolls of wallpaper, however its been a horrible transaction. My wife, was discriminated ( not going into those details) and i was treated like i was bothering them. They went ahead and billed my credit card WITHOUT my consent after i asked what the lead time was. ( they had a CC on file so we could borrow sample books . I also found the same product for far less. They even billed my cc another $1200 for wallpaper books that were returned to them. I don't like to write negative reviews about local stores . As a practice , I try to support local businesses in the Mt kisco /Bedford / Armonk area , and prefer not to buy online if i can help it. Especially during these times when every transaction counts. However i cannot recommend this Horrible, overpriced, store. Their arrogance, and dishonest billing practices brought me to write this review
