It was cold as if you were outside and to go back and forth of what I experienced is beside me, then mentioned credit that was given has nothing to do what felt while retrieve items from the inside !
- JAjohn archerDec 3, 20251.0I have been renting spaces at Public Storage for 20 years without incident. A year ago I rented a covered space from Extra space from Ron who couldn't be more helpful. As a matter of course he gave me a code to enter the property 24 hours a day as the car was there to be protected from the elements when I was in town. Everything went well until I flew into town on evening at midnight and the code I had been given by the manager had been changed. I was in an Uber in the pouring rain and was in harms way. I had to find a way to get to my home 2.5 hours away. Because of the distance and time of the evening, I had to find a taxi home at a cost of $350 . They had changed my code without notifying me. I called the next day and there was apparently a new manager named Logan. He informed me that it was my problem and that he would give me a code that would open the gate during office hours which made the facility unusable for me. He told me that then I should find another company and he didn't care if I wrote this review. This is the first time I have ever written such a review. I felt that I deserved a refund for that month because they denied me access for time I had paid for. I called they're local 716 number several times trying to accomplish this and then I suspected Logan had blocked my number when I wasbtold that the numberwas not in service. I used a friend's phone and got through. Logan answered the phone . I was aghast. I announced myself and asked him if he blocked my number and he said very quietly "yes". I asked him if my unit had been rented and he said yes. I was a long term client who overlooked the on-going price increases because of the kindness of Ron and the convenient proximity to the Airport . There's really nothing else to say. It's a shame that I had to write this siliqui, but I didn't want anyone else to go through what I went through.
