We have tried to cancel our account with them several times and they still keep showing up at the house even though we have canceled verbally on the phone and verbally face-to-face when a serviceman shows up. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. They are being reported to the BBB and the NYS attorney generals office. My next step is I’m calling the police and will have them trespassed if they come on my property again. This is their warning!

I called them in August to cancel and was told I could not cancel until November. They are still treating my property AND charging me! Stay away from APTIVE!

The only thing that matters is what is written in the contract when you later try to cancel. Customer service does not care what the salesperson promised you verbally; they will ask for written proof, and if it is not in the contract, you are out of luck. If someone from Aptive shows up, either say “no thanks” and close the door, or, if you are still interested, refuse to sign anything on the spot and read the entire contract very carefully and in detail on your own time.
