    URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! I made a large purchase of about $6,000 on a sofa around the holidays at Raymour & Flanigan (Gateway location), and while my initial interaction with the sales rep was okay, my overall experience left me very disappointed. After making such a significant purchase, I was interested in buying a table as well and simply asked if there was any type of bundle deal or discount available. When I requested to speak with a manager, the experience completely changed. The manager was extremely dismissive, unhelpful, and honestly came across as rude. There was no effort to work with me as a customer, no appreciation for the amount I had already spent, and the conversation ended with him brushing me off and walking away. It made me feel undervalued and disrespected. Unfortunately, I had a similar experience at the Flatbush Avenue location. The sales rep was attentive during the sale, but once the purchase was completed, she stopped responding to my calls entirely. That level of follow-up is unacceptable. On top of that, the overall atmosphere at the Gateway store is uncomfortable. When you walk in, it feels like you’re being judged or sized up instead of welcomed as a customer. That alone makes the shopping experience unpleasant. I will say, not all locations are the same. I had a completely different and positive experience at the Jamaica Avenue store. The manager there, Mr. G, was professional, respectful, and actually made me feel like a valued customer. Based on my experiences, I would strongly recommend going to the Jamaica Avenue location instead. Customer service makes all the difference, and unfortunately, that was lacking at Gateway and Flatbush.

    Ordered last week and was supposed to be delivered today… upon speaking with someone they said it was never ordered and he then helped order again and ordered it 3 times and won’t even be here another 10 days and I needed them for the holiday.. we will see if they get delivered or deleted again…

    Worked with Arleen and had such a great experience at the store! From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in helping us find exactly what we needed. She took the time to listen to our preferences, offered thoughtful suggestions without being pushy. What really stood out was her patience and professionalism, she made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable instead of overwhelming. It’s rare to come across someone who strikes that perfect balance between helpful and relaxed. Because of her excellent service, I left feeling confident in my purchase and excited about my new furniture. I’d absolutely come back again and highly recommend asking for her help if you visit R&F Gateway!

    Not happy. The salespersons convinced my mother to buy a "Tempur-Pedic" mattress only to learn on arrival that we had to purchase extended legs to adjust height but in the store, the salespersons stated the base could be extended at three levels on the same base. Total cost over $3200 in store on 3/17/26. We complained but their solution, "pay an additional $55.00 for extended legs" on 3/20/2026 after delivery. We thought we had a good experience with the salespersons in the store bc we felt that they had our best interest at heart. I now feel so swindled as I allowed my 85 y/o mother make this purchase. On arrival, 3/20/26, she called me and said, "I'm not happy", that broke my spirit. The bed height is so low, it pains her to get up to stand. Consumers, please take your time when making a grand purchase from Raymour & Flanagan. Go home first and think it over. Even go to another store, to compare the same details. I now see that it was more about the sale, cost and their commission, maybe, that was more important to them and the ultimate goal. I feel so sick inside. I should have followed my brother's advice and shop MACY'S. We live in a sick, sick world, where everything is about money $$. Consumers please take your time with your hard earned money.
