- RRRea RichardsonFeb 28, 20261.0Absolutely the worst experience ever. Had my items stored for about a total of 2 and half years. First year no issues. Then sometime after that my unit became thoroughly infested by rats. There were huge droppings on my things and on the floor of the unit. Most things were damaged by urine, droppings and items being chewed through. There were also droppings coming from under the doors of other units in the area. I took pictures and informed the front desk and was told by two of the employees that it was an issue they had been dealing with. They recently found fish/meat in one of the units. They said I was paying for insurance and would be able to claim on it when I returned to clean out. They would take pictures as well. Unfortunately when I came to clean out the manager was present and I called him to come take a look at the unit. He immediately looked at my mini Keurig and said because I'd left an old k-cup in the machine I would be unable to file on the insurance. He said the infestation was caused by me leaving the empty k cup in the machine. He refused to give me the paperwork for the insurance and said there's nothing he can do. I ended up having to throw away 80% of my things due to damage and closed out my account that week. Extremely horrible service strongly do not recommend. Will be filing a complaint!!
