I just received a notice that my rate is increasing, and at this point, the price no longer matches the value I’m getting. This location has no climate control, and in the winter it feels at least 15 degrees colder inside than it is outside. The freight elevator system is also a major inconvenience — you have to wait for staff to operate it, and when you’re finished, you have to ring a bell and wait again for someone to come get you. This makes quick trips to your unit almost impossible. When Justin was there, he was always helpful and professional. I believe he was the manager, but he no longer works at this location, and the level of service hasn’t been the same since. I don’t visit my unit often, but during my visit this past weekend I found several of my items knocked over on the floor. Looking at the metal mesh above my unit, it honestly looks like someone may have crawled over or accessed it from above. I can’t confirm if anything is missing because I have a lot stored there, but it definitely raised concerns. I already received quotes from other storage facilities offering lower pricing, climate-controlled units, and self-operated elevators — all features that would give me more peace of mind than what I’m getting here. Unfortunately, I will be moving my belongings out soon.
