  Shawn Green assisted me with a very challenging custom framing project involving two large 3D raised relief maps. Shawn demonstrated excellent framing expertise and comprehensive skills to meet my requirements for a difficult framing project to ensure that the two pieces were framed in a complementary manner as a matched set. He designed the framing solution, completed the orders, managed and performed the work, and successfully delivered two perfect custom framing pieces that I am proud to add to my home.

  Not sure how this mediocre big box hobby and craft store went from bad to worse except any quality brands that they had been stocking are being replaced with substandard generic items under store brands. Even one of the long-time stock clerks had commented to me on this. This greedy company had willingly killed its popular "40% off any item" coupon due to a lawsuit. Wouldn't be surprised if the woman who sued did so on behalf of the company. The "promise" of lower prices across the board is something I have not seen since the coupon was discontinued, there are never any legitimate sales, sewing items are minimal with a poor selection, and all the decor and other trinkets are made by slave labor in China, despite the company's "patriotic" and "Christian" boasting. Beware of those with excessive pride. Not a real hobby or craft store, and megastores like this monstrosity are what killed decent local hobby and craft family-owned that were common in the past several decades back. I don't waste my money here whatsoever any more due to prices at the highest end of MSRP that they can legally charge, increasingly bad selection, and an increase in inferior store brands. Its basically a store for people who think they are "crafty", but lack the skills and rely on the majority of products are nearly completed / completed.

  I recently had to return a large wall hanging to Hobby lobby. It was never used but I just did not feel the same about it after my husband recently passed away.I knew that since I did not have the receipt for it, and it was over three months that I bought it, I would probably be receiving a much lower price for it, and this was actually fine with me. However the manager that was called up to the front was not very nice & was downright rude. She was actually saying that this was not their product even though it had a Hobby Lobby sticker on the back. She also stated their products do not have this type of cardboard backing. So when an employee was called from that area, she verified that this was their product and that it was just an older style that they no longer carried. But In the meantime, the manager did not apologize for her rudeness in stating that this was not from Hobby Lobby. So even though I was willing to accept half of the price as a store credit, I was not willing to feel belittled. And if the store stands on its Christian beliefs, the managers should start by modeling a respectful and kind attitude towards people who shop there.
