Placed an online order for a 20' cut wire to be delivered. Received it by noon the next day. Great! We take the cable to the job site and realize the machine we want to use it on won't accept the outer diameter of the cable we ordered. We did not even open the cable loop, so the cable is still clean and untouched.
I open my Lowe's app and start a return. A few days later, I drive to Lowe's Bay Shore. I get in line. The lady at the desk starts my return. Then another employee intrudes and obnoxiously shouts five times that they do not accept returns on cut cable. I tell him I have a return label from the Lowe's app. He responds, "What the hell is that? Never heard of it." Then he shrugs. He claims he does not know what a return label from the app is. Basically, he is playing dumb, no doubt.
I have to state that he is not even behind the return counter but is merely being nosy and a bootlicker to the store manager. Meanwhile, the store manager is at the next register, listening to us and helping another customer. When he is done, he comes over to the register I am at. He kindly explains and firmly states that he will refuse the return order I created on the app due to store policy, all while the nosy employee is overseeing our conversation and the manager acts like he is "doing something" on the POS terminal.
I do understand it might be more difficult to resell cut wire. But I also have to state that your corporate website does not have a policy on cut wire, nor does the website warn or state on the per-foot wire items that they are not returnable. Besides the fact that I have purchased over $10k of items from you over the last few years, it should be a courtesy to the customer to accept a legit return order of $33 generated from your own app.
I am highly disappointed. I felt like I was being profiled by the nosy older employee due to my accent and my looks, and I will try to avoid Lowe's from now on—especially the Bay Shore store. $33 I could not refund is not going to make me rich or make the billion-dollar Lowe's corporate poor. It is about the principle of honoring your system and your written policies, which do not exist in my case. Nowhere on your product page or website could I find a statement regarding a no-return policy for cut wire.
P.S. I also contacted customer service regarding this matter, and I was told they have to uphold the store manager's policy
Long story short:
There’s no clear notice on the product page or during checkout that cut wire is non-returnable. On top of that, the Lowe’s app allowed me to initiate the return in the first place, which sets a reasonable expectation that it would be accepted.
The amount is small ($33), but the issue is consistency and transparency. Either clearly mark these items as non-returnable, or don’t allow returns to be initiated through the app.

I placed an online order for a hose at 4:30 PM. The system indicated that it would be ready within three hours and that I would be notified once it was set. Four hours passed, and I still hadn't received any notification, so I decided to call to see what was going on. The person who answered told me that the order would be ready for pickup in another 10 to 15 minutes. I arrived at 9:05 PM—40 minutes later. Just as I was walking into the store, I received a call informing me that the product I had ordered was actually unavailable—even though the website had shown that they had over 70 in stock. Since I was already at the store, I asked to speak with a manager, especially considering they had made me drive 25 minutes to get there. Manager Anna then arrived and spoke to me in a tone that basically implied she didn't give a damn that they didn't have the product, adding that she had *just* sent an employee to search the entire store for it. I told her that was fine, that I no longer wanted the product, and that I would be leaving a review regarding the experience. At that point, her tone changed completely, and she told me that they actually *did* have other hoses available and that I could go look for them myself. The reason I placed the order online in the first place is that I have difficulty walking; otherwise, I would simply go and find the product myself. Then, this morning at 8:04 AM, I received a text message stating that the order was ready for pickup. Terrible customer service.

We placed a cabinet order in November. We received a text that order was being delivered only to find out it was not the complete order it was missing the corner cabinet. Spoke to the kitchen cabinet manager Ann and our salesman Brian they had the order replaced for the missing cabinet it now arrived but has a damaged door . So here we go again they ordered a doors also a draw was not made correctly along with other damaged doors
We received the draw not assembled and still haven’t received the replacement doors we were also told we would get some credit back we are now in the month of April and no replacement products and no credit. Mangers Ann and John haven’t not even responded to any emails to resolve the issue
I would never ever deal with them again
The quality of the product is poor along with ever team member very disappointing and unprofessional as a big corporation they should have taken immediate action to resolve this issue

NO stars! There were at least 8 sales people on the floor in a small area, gathered in pairs. Not one of them asked if I needed assistance. They were talking amongst themselves. The automated check out was fully occupied by paying customers. The sales reps are getting paid to stand around and do nothing except chat about whose wife works in the same building as so and so's wife, while the customers are doing the sales reps job and not getting paid for it. Lowe's I am disappointed in you! If I want automated check out with no personal interaction, I will shop Amazon.
