    LOWE'S OF E. AMHERST, NY #1881 has the worst customer service. Don’t give them your money or waste your time trying to purchase anything from them. I’ve spent over an hour on the phone trying to resolve an issue with my order and nothing has been fixed yet. I spoke with three people in the store- front end customer service, department manager, and store manager. None of them could say why my order was cancelled which is disappointing but I understand the “system” canceled it and they can’t override it. The truly frustrating part is none of them were willing to help resolve the issue. They said they can’t do anything and their hands are tied. Now we have to hope the gift card we used to purchase the item makes it back to us in the mail which they advised takes 14 days AND the item we want is still on sale when we go to purchase again. Lowe’s can do digital gift cards and it would have resolved the issue immediately but that’s not part of their procedure so we’re out of luck. Customer care was also no help. Poor service all around and really frustrating.

    This isn't an indictment of the store itself, but Lowe's only contact options are a single phone number to India, or a broken chat-bot through their very broken app. Placed a large order online split between store pickup and delivery, with my Lowe's card. Pickup items started popping up as ready, others were shipping to the store. Cool. Woke up to a "Fraud Alert" and "Payment Declined" alert. Called the number. "Michelle" tried to help me for an hour, most of that time me asking her to repeat what she had said in her very broken English. Bottom line is that Payment was declined because it was missing the expiration date from the card. Lowe's Advantage cards don't have expiration dates on them. She refused to escalate the call, insisting that I give her another card. Lowe's just lost all of my future business.

    I bought a new gas dryer from the Lowe's W. Amherst store when mine broke, and the third party installation company that was supposed to come messed up and ended up making me have to reschedule for the next week. Lowe's W. Amherst took it upon themselves not only to apologize for the installation company not following protocol, but they had their own installer come out to install my new dryer AND haul my old one away, which I didn't even pay to have done! It saved me from having to carry the old dryer out to the curb myself. The Lowe's delivery and installers were friendly, professional, treated me great, and did a top-notch job in installing my new dryer. I can't recall their names or I would name them out by name, but it was two young gentleman, and one was the other's boss. Great customer service! THANK YOU, Lowe's!!!

    If I could give Lowe’s no stars I would. Horrible horrible customer service made an online order. They took my money and put it on hold picked up the order they charged my card and now I have two charges for $900 and they don’t want to fix it. So BEWARE if you do an online order they hold your money for 3-10 business days plus charge your card when you pick up your order. Customer service sucks these days but especially at Lowe’s. Didn’t try to rectify the situation at all!!!!! Will never shop here again!!!!!
