- ALAlyssa LombardoJan 20, 20261.0I went in to make a quick purchase as I knew exactly what I wanted and where it was in the store before I got there. I intended on being in the store maybe 5-10 minutes. Not even 5 seconds of me being in the store, I was “greeted” by a worker who was organizing displays by the front door. She said something along the lines of “isn’t there a driving ban? We have a lot of customers I wasn’t expecting” I just laughed it off, but my husband told her that there wasn’t and the roads were clear. The worker then responded with “so much for closing early because of not having customers” how unprofessional! It was around 6pm when this happened, at least a minimum of 3 hours before they’re scheduled to close. A part of me just wanted to turn around and leave, but I was already there so I figured I’d just get what I needed and leave like I intended on doing anyway. I’m sticking to homegoods and tjmaxx from now on.

The experience introduced me to a great store that is right up my alley. I love home goods and I’m such a home body however I find many similar stores to be over priced, but At Home has really great expensive looking items for a bit less than others, without loosing any of the quality. I was pleasantly surprised by their inventory and to be honest wanted to stay all day and look at everything they had which is a lot, the store is huge! Also I had a really pleasant experience with the person who cashed me out for the items I got, they were easy to talk to, helpful, and genuinely friendly which is very hard to come by now a days and to be honest for me that will make or break my impression of a business, idc how much I like your items or how popular you are, if you don’t make me feel comfortable, wanted, or valued I will not ever purchase your goods or recommend to anyone else to do so. I didn’t have that experience here, it was a pleasure to have gotten acquainted with their brand, and I hope there are many more times I will have the pleasure to visit their store or buy something from them.
