  Waited in long lines to cash out and I get shopping season has started. Had a ticket pick up item, they checked said it was in stock and fin8shed my purchase waited 10 minutes for an empty box and was offered the very beat up display, which I declined. Someone who appeared to be a manager said he really thought the item was back there. Waited almost 20 minutes when one of the other workers saw us amd said the manager had said to give us a refund, but he never came back and no one told, just left us standing there.

  I try, at all costs, to avoid this store for the sole reason that I know I will be standing in line for at least 10 minutes unless you happen to go at an off time or get lucky. The lines are typically down the aisles all while you see employees walking around everywhere instead of opening up more lanes. On top of that, their system for checking out people is something straight out of the 1980s. No barcodes, just typically women over the age of 50 who don’t use computers much, having to look up each individual item in their system under different categories. It’s absolutely insane. Corporates excuse for not modernizing their checkout system is to have better human interaction; which is funny because when you have 1 thing and you to wait 20 min, the majority of the customers in line are pretty over it and livid by the time they’re checking out lol. It’s just a very bizarre company.

  They have great deals on seasonal decor, every craft and low tech activity under the sun, wide fabric selection. The lines are a little crazy, and they are closed on sundays 👍

  Understaffed and Unorganized Visited on a Friday night and the checkout area was completely backed up. None of the lines were moving, and there was zero communication from staff about the delay. After standing in line for 15 minutes with no progress, I ended up putting my items back and leaving.

  Hobby lobby is great. There customer service not so much. I don’t live close and I understand it’s the holiday season and it gets hectic. But I called ahead to see if they had a particular item, I had the sku to hopefully make it easier to look up. They were so kind in checking. Until I don’t think the women who answered the phone realized I could hear her and said I don’t get why people don’t just come in. I do apologize for the inconvenience and I’m sorry it seemed to be. Prior to this I was on hold and they hung up I beleive 3 times. I assumed disconnection but it was continuous.
