this place is a joke I will never come back here. lies after lies about the couch we where trying to buy from them. they definitely have lost a customer for sure. what a joke and I used to like AARON'S to bad there isn't another store besides this one. wish I could give a lower rating than a 1 if I had my choice it would be a big fat ZERO !!!!! to add more context they where still trying to sell me and my husband a BROKEN couch that they said was BROKEN in the same spot as the one on the show floor so that tells me that we where LIED to by the manager. that and who doesn't check the shipment to make sure it is not damaged before calling a customer to set up a delivery date and a account to make payments. then tell us that they can order another peice but can still sell it to us for half price. why the heck would I want a BROKEN couch that I can't get parts for and still have to make payments on it. that is why I say this place is a JOKE and not a very good or funny one either.

Staff in store are extremely rude. We originally ordered a washer and dryer online as advised by the manager when we called the store to inquire about a washer dryer set. When we called back to the store we were informed that manager was terminated and it never showed up to the store for delivery so we had to travel an hour to go to the showroom and pick a pre-leased set for a quicker delivery. They showed up for delivery with the wrong set, had no hoses for hookup and a bad plug. We agreed to have this set hooked up until they could redeliver the proper set so we could wash clothes since we had been waiting so long. Had to wait for delivery guys to go to Carson to get new plug and hoses. After they left we had an issue where the washer kept stopping and throwing a code. After a couple of tries we realized they never turned the water hoses on. Fast forward to today, when we were supposed to get the proper set delivered first thing in the morning. They hadn’t shown up or called so we called the store again to find out a delivery time since we both work and have to be home for the delivery. Called the store and spoke to Sabrina and Monica, who again were extremely rude. They told us the delivery would be between 3 and 6 pm. When we spoke our dissatisfaction we were threatened that they would just cancel our order. I have never delt with such rudeness from an employee of a company where their services were purchased. I hope the actions of this one store is not a reflection of Aaron’s as a company. We just want the set we ordered and to be done with the people in this store.

We used Aaron’s Rent to Own in Reno to stage our home for sale. The customer service was particularly good, with a special shout-out to General Manager Jennifer who truly went above and beyond to get us what we needed in the time we needed it. Upon entering the store, my husband and I immediately noticed a much different, more positive vibe than we had at another furniture rental chain store. The staff were very helpful, pointing out pieces we may not have noticed on our own and letting us know what they had in stock in the back and what they were anticipating receiving in the next week. GM Jennifer explained the finance options, delivery times, and so much more. We came back a few days later with our realtor to make final choices and got our paperwork in order. The finances were a bit wonky, perhaps because we keep freezes on our accounts with the credit reporting agencies and we had just purchased a home, but Jennifer was able to straighten it all out. Most of the furniture was delivered on a Friday, but the dining set and screws to assemble the bed were AWOL, and we needed it all before 10am the next day for an open house showing. Jennifer worked into the evening hours then again early morning (before the store opened) and was able to find a dining table on very short notice and came out with another office employee before regular business hours to deliver it, ensuring our open house started on time. Kudos to the ladies who delivered the bulk of the furniture on Friday – they were careful not to hit the walls or door frames, which was appreciated as we had just finished repainting the interior of the house for resale. All this and furniture delivery is not their regular job – they usually work in the store but were covering for absent delivery drivers. The furniture was in decent to good condition (the bed was a bit wobbly, but since it was just for show it didn't make much difference, and the desk had a few noticeable scuff marks), what you would expect from gently used furniture. Everything went fairly smoothly (I had a hiccup trying to pay via the website, but a quick phone call to the store and I was able to make a payment). Based on the customer service, furniture selection process, and delivery, and with Jennifer at the helm, I anticipate the rest of process to go smoothly. I would recommend anyone needing to rent furniture short-term to make Aaron’s Rent to Own in Reno their first stop.
