I called this location ahead of time to cancel the assembly for the item we ordered due to transportation concerns. I was told clearly that it would not be assembled. However, on the day of pickup, not only was the pickup location changed to a different store without any communication, email, or text update, but the item was also assembled anyway.
Because of this, we had to scramble to find different transportation. It felt like, since the product was on sale, customer service simply did not matter. The experience made it seem as though customers are expected to accept whatever happens without question.
To make matters worse, the item was not assembled correctly. Some parts were misaligned, and others were missing entirely. When I contacted customer service, they acted as if I was wasting their time and told me to either return the product or contact the manufacturer because it was no longer their responsibility.
I have never felt so disrespected as a customer. This experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

Convenient big box hardware store. The folks that work here are helpful, kind, decent people. They usually have whatever I'm after on the shelf. I prefer Lowes to their orange competition.

OMG! I just recently went there today [12/18/25] and I had a helpful and wonderful experience there,the staffs were super helpful,kind,and pleasant workers of helping me find a tub drain stopper and a plastic bucket. [you guys know who you are. 😉]
Plus it has all of the other things that I've heavenly been looking for and want to,so yeah I'll definitely be coming back there again for those things,believe that. 😊💜

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order.
