- JBJeff BDec 20, 20251.0They really embrace the concept of predatory renting. Extra Space Storage raised my rent from 125 to 194, a 55% increase. After just 2 months. That is unacceptable and way above any normal Las Vegas market increase (so please, do give me the copy and pasted “rates increase with market value” reply). Most units in the area only go up a few percent a year. And their climate control is a joke, with temps in 90-95 range in late summer. If you have any sensitive items, good luck. Customer service doesn’t help and you get zero value for the price. Don’t bother.
