Got some things I needed at this location. While I was shopping, I had a very disappointing experience with an employee named "Eddie". His tone towards me was very irritable. Like I was being a bother. A few minutes later, I heard him talking to a female employee very disrespectfully. Lowes do better at hiring nice people.

I had a very frustrating experience at Lowe’s Home Improvement, specifically with the store manager Kristine.
We went to pick up a water heater that our company had purchased, only to be told it was already picked up days earlier. This immediately raised concerns, as our office was closed on the day they claimed to have “verified” the pickup.
After speaking with staff, we were told that an employee gave our water heater to a completely different company. Supposedly, they “called our office” to authorize this — which is not possible since no one was working that day. This explanation was clearly inaccurate.
When we escalated the issue, the manager reviewed the cameras, which showed that their employee released the water heater without confirming a PO number or proper authorization. Despite this clear mistake, there was no accountability, no apology, and no effort to resolve the issue.
What made the situation worse was how it was handled. Instead of trying to resolve the problem, the manager called over another employee and asked them to repeat — in front of us — that we needed to “just get a refund,” as if we were not understanding her. The tone came across as dismissive and condescending, rather than helpful or professional.
We were repeatedly told to get a refund from our creditor, as if this situation was not caused by their internal error. No ownership, no transparency, and no attempt to make it right.
Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. Especially a store manager. This experience showed a complete lack of accountability and customer care, especially for a company that works with contractors and professionals.
Very disappointing experience.
