- RRRebecca Reil2 days ago1.0I just want to leave a huge warning to anyone who comes to this Lowe’s and encounters Yes! Air Conditioning, especially Casey Stallings, the Lowe’s Program Manager. My mom got talked into having someone come out to repair her unit. She was charged almost $400. They then tried to get her to replace the unit. The amount they were going to charge her was astronomical and the interest rate even more. She would have had to pay over $16,000 in interest alone. The workers were predatory trying to get her to sign the loan. They didn’t fix her unit, but charged her for it, and then tried scaring her into buying a new unit. A second opinion came out the next day and confirmed they never fixed the unit, the capacitor was never installed, and they never gave her an invoice. Trying to correct this and cancel the project and stop communications from Lowe’s, Yes!, and, the loan company, GoodLeap (which she never signed), has been a nightmare. For Lowe’s to have a contract with such a shady company is such a huge disappointment. People don’t deserve to be lied to or taken advantage of.

There were quite a few employees who were very antagonistic and even though I spent over a thousand dollars on that shopping trip alone, they treated me like I was shoplifting. I’ve spent thousands at Lowe’s in the past few months while renovating and very rarely even return anything and this is the only location where I feel uncomfortable shopping.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped.
