After my husband passed away and I sold my home, I needed past receipts for tax purposes. Unfortunately, Lowe’s refused to provide them due to their 90-day policy. Customer service was able to see multiple pages of my purchase history but would not release the copies I needed. After two decades of loyalty, that experience felt incredibly disappointing. Because of how this was handled, I will not be shopping at Lowe’s again.

- RRReginaJan 28, 20265.0You have got to be a fan of customer service like theirs! I'll start off by saying I had NO IDEA what tool I was looking for on how to get the job done that I wanted. Talk about frustrated and irritated. As I pulled up to the store, anxiety set in. How was I going to explain what I needed to fix the kitchen sink without looking like a stupid woman? If I ran into a sarcastic man I knew it would send me into outer space so I took a deep breath and dared enter the Kingdom of Competent Men. (there's a switch) Okay, so I searched the aisles after reading the signs and found where I was supposed to be. I just had no clue of what I needed. But, hey, I had a fistful of money to buy whatever was needed to fix the sink so I was at least partially aheead of the game. Then...I spotted HIM! The elusive Customer Service Associate! I'd heard about these guys a few times, therefore; I knew they existed but they just seemed to avoid me at all times. Okay, so there he stood. "The Helper Guy"! (insert blue cape flaggig in the wind) I walked up to him and took a deep breath. He smiled at me and asked with confidence, "May I help you?" You could've knocked me over with a feather. I began to explain to him what needed to be done. I couldn't believe how HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, NON-JUDGEMENTAL, and KNOWLEDGEABLE this young man was! He explained to me that I DIDN'T need the tool which would've cost $62.00 but I could get the job done by purchasing a kit for $17.99! I even tried to slip him a $20 tip for saving me the extra $40 but he wouldn't take it! My entire experience was leaps ahead of that other store! No need to mention there name. We'll just say that when you need things for your Home, that's usually the first Depot of stores people consider. Oh! Wait! On my way to the regsiter, I was approached by 3 other Associates asking if I needed assistance. How cool is that? Yes, of course that is what is supposed to happen but for a first time trip to this store, I was blown away! I will be returning! One more thing. I saw that they had a full line of garden needs and wants. I'll definitely be returning.

It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
