  The self-storage industry is, by its very nature, transactional and impersonal. You show up, sign a contract, get a lock, and rarely does anyone make you feel like more than another unit number. That's exactly what makes Rene such a remarkable find. Rene is currently the temporary manager at this location, and from the moment you walk through the door, it's clear she is no ordinary employee. She carries herself with the kind of pride and ownership you simply don't expect in this industry, or most industries, for that matter. She knows the product, knows the customers, and genuinely seems to love what she does. Watching her interact with people was an eye-opener. She is warm, attentive, and proactive in a way that feels less like a manager fulfilling her duties and more like an entrepreneur who built this place from the ground up and has a personal stake in every customer's experience. In a world where good customer service has become the exception rather than the rule, Rene stands out as truly exceptional. ExtraSpace Storage would be doing itself a disservice not to recognise this. She deserves to be made the permanent manager of this location, at the very least. Better yet, the company should consider making her a trainer and brand ambassador, because what she brings to every customer interaction is exactly the culture any organisation should want to replicate across all of its locations. Rene, if you happen to read this: you are brilliant at what you do, and it shows.

  You can't get them off the phone until you rent a unit, but after that you can't get someone to call you back to save your life! Was originally quoted one price on the phone and the kiosk but ended up paying about $40 more just to move in. Had my own lock in hand but was charged anyway, requested refund same way i paid and specifically denied receiving a check but after multiple unsuccessful calls i was still mailed a check. Mark the "assistant manager " acted like I asked him for his first born when with a heavy sigh said he has to make some calls and would call me back. It's been well over a month and Mark is yet to call me back. I also specifically declined auto payments but my card was saved and attempted to be charged multiple times regardless. All that aside units are crazy expensive compared to competitors, about $30-40 more a month than my same size unit at Cubesmart and in a better neighborhood. My current unit is falling apart (pic included) and in just couple months my property is already damaged and some completely ruined. I will be moving out as soon as possible, but they sure bank on the fact people can't just move in and out especially if storing large or furniture pieces. Either way be safe, guard yourself as I ran into some questionable characters and am not convinced some homeless man do not live there. Good luck

  Extra Space Storage is relatively cheap. I utilized the place for several months after I moved to Vegas from Los Angeles. I moved to a bigger storage that can store a big RV near my newly constructed house. I sold my house and RV during the pandemic. Since I am still alive, I need to store my junks close to our senior apartment at China town. Extra Space Storage is only two miles from us. It has gotten better under new management.
