The only thing that has remained consistent in this location is the disrespectful and cruel behavior from the property manager George Lewis!!! When I signed for the first 6 months rent at that located (7435 W Sahara Ave), one of the first things I was asked was to leave a review before I even had a chance to get a feel for the place or their staff!! That should have been a red flag!! Not even a week later I was warned by a family that was loading out that they were robed and managing apparently responded with "its not our problem"!! At that point I had already signed a 6 month lease!! A month later the unit next to mine got robbed!! I also had enough time to actually look around and notice the urine stains at the corners of the exit doors and stairways!! Then I was actually shown by a family that was leaving how homeless were able to walk in without having to enter access codes!! Which explains the bio all over the property!! Leading to me finding out they actually rent storage units to homeless people which also explains to constant robberies!! One of the MAIN reasons I chose that located was the late access availability!! That was changed within the first 3 months without notification!! When I attempted to speak with the "manager" george he smarted off in a downgrading tonality stating "a notification was sent out".. "you should have read it"!! Assuming I received the notice!! It seemed that every time I had a question he'd respond with an attitude and temper behind his tone!! My 6 months were up but unfortunately I had to renew (to which I was charged DOUBLE) due to medical issues and could not move my belongings especially without help!! Couple of days ago had to drop off items in my unit so I arrived at 18:20.. property closes at 1900!! As I was getting ready to get my belongings off my vehicle when I noticed george locking up the property!! I tried to move faster (even with much pain) to the doors that were still open because the doors closer to my storage unit was no longer allowing me authorization!! I dropped off my belongings and on the way out I noticed george standing by the exit doors so I asked him why the property was being shut down on a Wednesday at 18:20.. He raised his voice again talking down on me stating that the property doesn't have to "announce" when or if they change hours of operations!! I asked him if that was in the contact and he once again repeated himself as I was speaking mid sentence!! I also stated that the door I needed was closed and his actions caused me to walk the longer route causing more pain.. he raised his shoulders stating argumenativly "thats the only availability"!! That the first door closes at 1815.. and the second door closes at 1830!! I then asked him why was he closing early when the property closes at 1900!! At which point he stated you can always cancel your contract and get your money back!! I know my review is long.. but if you care about your belongings and appreciate the respect and professionalism that should comes with your financial investment.. DONT resnt from this location!! There is a reason for the negative reviews on here!! READ them first before making any decisions!! Immediately after leaving the property.. I called their customer service line to escalate the issue when Ethan drilled me for information on "verifying" me before we went any further!! Stating "i dont have anyone to connect you with" when I asked for a supervisor/manager!! So I disconnected the call and will try again the following day!! This place is not safe.. and the manager george lewis is a cold hearted bully!! You dont have to go through a negative experience if you can learn through others who've been there!! I will do whatever necessary to find another place!! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!
