  Very disappointing experience. We received a defective sofa, and despite contacting the store multiple times, we did not receive any helpful or satisfactory response. It has not even been 20 days since delivery, yet they refused to exchange the sofa or offer a proper solution. Customer service was unresponsive and uncooperative. I would not recommend this store due to poor after-sales support and lack of responsibility for defective products.

  We had 3 appliances delivered and the delivery drivers were amazing! They took their time and ensured our appliances and walls were not damaged. One was in training and it was so nice to see the trainer taking time to explaining things to him. Super happy customers!

  Marlene at Leons in Dartmouth was awesome to work with. Very helpful, knowledgeable and kind. Was contacted by phone and email, the day before, to let me know when deliver would be and on day of delivery I was emailed a GPS to see where they were and they also called half hour before. Delivery guys were very friendly and professional and also helped us move old couch out. Great experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

  NEVER shop at Leon's in Nova Scotia. They dropped a clothes dryer down my parent's stairs! Scratched the hardwood on the stairs and dented the front of the steps, and took no responsibility. I had 6 reputable contractors quote me the cost to repair it, and Leon's would only go by their own "contractor" which was 10% of the cost of all other quotes! Be very cautious, they won't tell you they outsource their delivery to a third party and take NO responsibility if they damage your home. Even escalated to the President - Michael Walsh in Toronto - they treat everyone in Nova Scotia as if they want a "free stair repair" - my parent's stairs were in mint condition and didn't need a replacement, and the scratches and dents caused by Leon's! Sanding and staining "SPOTS" is the cheapest band-aide approach which even Mr Walsh would never do in his own home! Avoid Leon's - choose another furniture store.

  Went in, bought a dryer and a recliner. Dryer supposed to be delivered on the 11th Recliner at a later date. Got a call on the 9th saying chair would be delivered on 21st. Later received an email on the 10th confirming dryer delivery on 11th. Called the delivery department and left a message for them to call me before arrival if possible. Check the tracking on the 11th, no dryer put on a truck and I should call Leon's. "the sales associate changed your delivery date to the 21st for both" I did not consent to changing my original dryer delivery date, and now "there is nothing they can do". Also surprise, no manager available. Edit: just received a lie-filled phone call from a manager. When I bought my dryer, delivery was set for the 11th. According to the manager, "no delivery date was set". And then when I tell him I have proof in an email, of confirm for 11th, "you should not have gotten that". Yet it followed all the information I had until today, when their mistake comes up. Final edit: received another phone call from a Leon's manager, who offered to have my items delivered on the 13th. Accepted offer. Appreciate the effort for resolution. Review upped to 4* from 1*
