Yesterday, the company charged my credit card $120 for the next month. THE COMPANY MORE THAN TRIPLED MY PRICE IS LESS THAN ONE YEAR. At this moment, on the Extra Space Storage website there is a listing for a 5x10 indoor unit, elevator access, in the same building as mine for $87/month. That is twice the size as the unit that I rent, in the same building, for $33 per month less than my new price. The person who rents this 5x10 for $87/month will very likely get hit with same BAIT AND SWITCH that they hit me with. If I were not overseas, I would move my stuff out now. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS. UPDATE---MY REPLY TO THE "Response from the owner" --- You can address my price concerns by lowering my monthly rent back to a reasonable price instead of taking advantage of my overseas situation with a rip off price increase that more than triples the rent that I paid less than one year ago.

Also shout out to Robin and Bray who were very helpful and professional. Also had no problem driving our 26ft truck right in.

- JKJoan KimNov 9, 20251.0I rent a unit here and while moving stuff in/out left a single cardboard box outside as there was no trash or recycling bin anywhere on the property. The store manager Samantha dug through the box to find my name and called me about the box. When I told her that while I wouldn’t leave boxes outside anymore, her way of digging through the box and finding out my phone number then calling me about it was a bit uncomfortable / creepy she said great then hung up on me. Was such a jarring creepy interaction. A simple apology would’ve sufficed but she must have been really upset over an empty box. What kind of person digs through a box to find a phone number, calls it unsolicited to aggressively confront someone over a minor thing that can be handled over email (or with less aggression), then hangs up instead of apologizing when they’re told that’s not cool? Literally basic social tact. I wonder who owns the place?
