- MMMariahDec 1, 20251.0I have been a customer for 3 years and 3 moves keep with Extra Space in 3 different states but my experience at the Ladera Albuquerque location. The old lady with the short gray hair was incredibly RUDE and highly unprofessional. She was raising her voice and threatening to call the cops on us for not moving our vehicle over , the yellow pillars were blocking us from moving large furniture into our moving truck so we used 2 spaces to load them then were moving over to load the rest. I explained to her what we were doing and it would be a minute but she immediately started berating me like I was her child and threatened to call the cops on me for not doing as she said… seriously it was not that deep but I did move my truck over and still used the other spot for my second vehicle to load also, she claimed we were using a spot for someone cause she was busy. Only 2 other cars were there for all 10 spaces. Then we were using 3 carts to move our items down from the 3rd floor with 8 people moving to make it fast (at the time again only 2 other cars loading as well) we are aware to share and use less when more people arrived but she came upstairs and I was busy in the storage but my 13 year old child Was pushing a cart to the elevator where she again started her tirade of raising her voice that we could only use 2 carts which is fine and we understood but confronting my daughter and not addressing me with the issue was infuriating and inappropriate… at this point I was livid but we just hurried and left. Lastly our boxes were chewed and there is a bunch of mice droppings everywhere. But I was in no mood to address the issue with her at that point but as we were leaving she scurried into the office and locked the door behind so I couldn’t even if I had wanted to. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and we won’t recommend anyone to that location. We left everything in good condition and swept up the mouse poop.
