- MPMeaghan PenningFeb 4, 20261.0Bought a Christmas reindeer for $30. Half the lights didn’t work. Thought that because I was an at home credit card holder, I had 90 days to return. Went to return within the 90 days and was told that I only get $4 back because that is what the reindeer is discounted to. Asked if I could exchange the reindeer for one that worked. Was told no they don’t make them anymore because Christmas is over. Then how can you say it’s discounted to $4 and that is the refund I receive? I spent a total of $400 on Christmas decorations this year. Because of this policy, I will no longer be shopping here. Had the manager just refunded my full $30, or found me a working reindeer even had it shipped to my house, I would’ve continued my $1000+ a year spend at this store. Thanks for losing me as a loyal customer At Home! You’re saving me a lot of money in 2026.

What is the At Home return policy?
No receipt? No problem!* Returns of unused items in the original packaging will be fully refunded within 60 days (90 days if you’re an Insider Perks member) with proof of purchase through your Insider Perks account or credit card or receipt and a valid ID. If your purchase cannot be verified, you’ll be issued a store credit based on the current price of the item(s).
Christmas merchandise returned after December 25 will be refunded for the current price of the items, even with the original receipt.
We do not provide exchanges. You're welcome to return any unwanted product and purchase new items.
We are unable to accept returns on mattresses.
We are unable to accept returns of pillows and cushions without all of their tags.
We are unable to accept returns of items marked “All Sales Final”.
