What should have been a simple kitchen cabinet project has turned into almost 10 months of delays, defects, excuses, and complete lack of accountability. I started this project in May 2025, and it has been nothing but frustration: - It took 6 weeks just to get the first set of cabinets. - One cabinet arrived with serious structural issues. Lowe’s reordered it three separate times, and every single replacement came damaged or defective. - Another cabinet had scratched doors, which meant another 6‑week wait. - My kitchen renovation finally began in October, under a contract that clearly stated 3 weeks to complete. - But more cabinet problems kept showing up. My contractor tried to work with what we had, but one cabinet had been ordered incorrectly by Lowe’s. - We went back, they ordered a new one, and that took another 5 weeks. - By then, my contractor’s contract expired, and he refused to return because the project was dragged out endlessly due to Lowe’s and KraftMaid’s repeated mistakes. - The “new” cabinet arrived scratched again. Lowe’s had to reorder it yet again. - The final replacement didn’t arrive until February 3, 2026. Let me be clear: This is nearly 10 months of delays, damaged products, reorders, and zero responsibility from Lowe’s or KraftMaid. Lowe’s refuses to take responsibility for the installation delays. KraftMaid does not answer calls or emails. I’ve lost my contractor, lost time, lost money, and lost all trust in both companies. This has been one of the most infuriating, exhausting, and unprofessional experiences I’ve ever dealt with. I would strongly warn anyone considering Lowe’s or KraftMaid for a kitchen project: think twice.

How do I check my order status?
Check your order status online by entering the order number or logging in to your MyLowe’s account. You’ll receive email updates if your order status changes.
How do I know if my order is ready to be picked up?
You’ll receive an email with pickup instructions and the location of the store you selected when your order is ready. You can pick up your order during store operating hours at the designated pickup area. Just provide the order confirmation email or order number with your photo ID (state driver’s license, military ID or state ID). For your protection, only the cardholder or an authorized user of the credit card may pick up the order.
How do I return or exchange an item?
Most (but not all) items can be returned within 90 days. If you bought something from Lowes.com, you can start a return online in your Order History before shipping it back to us. For in-store returns, you’ll be asked to provide proof of purchase at the customer service desk. The return barcode for the order works, too, and can be found on your Order Details page.
How do I cancel an item from my order?
You can cancel items from orders that haven’t yet shipped or haven't been picked up in store by signing into your MyLowe’s account and selecting Orders & Purchases. Find your order and select Details. In the Delivery section of the item you wish to remove, select Cancel. Find your order and select Details. Visit the customer service desk in store to apply for a tax-exempt account.
It appears that I’ve been charged multiple times for an order. How can I resolve this?
These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s. Orders shipped in multiple shipments will be charged separately at time of shipment; therefore, you may see multiple charges, but they'll never exceed the full amount of your order. For orders with longer lead times, your method of payment will be reauthorized to ensure funds remain available until your item is shipped. If you observe multiple pending authorizations, please contact your financial institution as each bank’s policies differ on how long authorizations are held.
