I can understand if inventory is out of stock that's not an issue, you can't help that. But to have a condescending attitude about it when I called before I left the house to see if the item was still available and when I arrived it wasn't. Again I understand if it ran out but if I say "yeah I just called about a half hour ago and was told it was here" it's not necessary to say "Did you call a half hour ago or hours ago?" Then the other employees chime in about how it's been out for hours. And then I have to physically show her proof on my phone that I had just called and the only response I get is "oh.". Why is there so much energy to be rude but not to be polite? Maybe she is having a bad day we all do but hopefully she doesn't try piling on someone else. It's a shame because right before that encounter I had great customer service in the garden section and at the opposite end with a cashier. How is customer service the one department in the store that isn't friendly to customers.

Employee told me to order something online because he'd have to get a forklift to get it down. Went in for 3 small things they had 100+ in stock and just one in a reachable spot. Order online something I'm looking at is hilarious.

As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
