Having Crystal Blue Pools manage our pool cleaning last summer was the best decision we ever made. We have used so many different pool companies, and I’ve never been more satisfied. We appreciated the honesty and the on time work that they provided to us. We had a relaxing, beautiful summer, knowing that the team from Crystal Blue was going to come like clockwork and do an amazing job for us. They were worth every penny. We referred them to friends and family and they have done an exceptional job also for them and they continually say how grateful they are for us referring them. They have become our forever pool company.

Waited 3.5 weeks for my SCHEDULED repair and they didn't show up, called and they were supposed to come out the following week and didn't show up or call.
When they finally called and said they would be out the following week and call the day before coming out......you guessed it, they never called or came out.
Terrible service at every turn, i wouldn't recommend them at all !!!
Frequently Asked Questions About Crystal Blue Pool Renovation
How do I know my pool needs to be replastered?
Pool plaster deteriorates over time. Signs that indicate the need for replastering include visible worn-out areas and a rough texture on the pool's surface. These are typically clear indicators that it's time to consider replastering your pool.
How do I determine if the tiles on my pool need to be replaced?
Assessing the need for tile replacement can be challenging through visual inspection alone. However, key indicators include visible cracks in the tile and an increasing frequency of tiles detaching from the pool surface year after year. These signs often suggest it's time to consider replacing your pool tiles.
How do I determine when to replace my coping/brick is the right time?
To assess if coping or brick replacement is necessary, conduct a visual inspection and perform a simple sound test. Gently tap the top of the coping or brick with a pool cover pole or hammer. A solid sound indicates good condition, while a hollow sound suggests the coping or brick may be detaching from the bond beam. This detachment often results from the freeze-thaw cycles common in northeastern climates.
How long does pool installation take?
The duration of pool installation varies by type. Vinyl liner pools typically take 3-6 weeks, while concrete (gunite) pools require 8-12 weeks or more. Factors such as weather conditions, design complexity, and inspection schedules can extend these timelines.
Do I need a permit to install a pool?
Yes, most municipalities require permits for pool installation. It's essential to check with your local authorities regarding specific permit requirements before beginning any pool construction project.
Do I need a fence or safety barrier?
Safety barriers, typically fences with self-closing and self-latching gates, are required by most local building codes for pool areas. Some jurisdictions may also mandate alarms on doors leading to the pool area as an additional safety measure.
What is the difference between saltwater and chlorine pools?
Saltwater pools use a salt chlorine generator to produce chlorine through electrolysis, resulting in gentler water that requires less manual chemical handling. They have higher initial costs but lower ongoing chemical expenses. Traditional chlorine pools involve manual addition of chlorine, offering more flexibility in adjusting chlorine levels quickly. They have lower setup costs but higher ongoing chemical expenses and may feel harsher on skin and eyes.
