My Guy ordered a stove and microwave last week. The delivery team who were also the installers he was told. They were speaking another language between them .Said it was all done and left. When my Guy came in he started hollering get the dog and get out of the house it’s filled with gas. I ran outside and banged on my neighbors door ( I’m in a duplex) get out of the house there is a gas leak. I quickly called the gas Company, they arrived extremely fast. They shut the gas down. We were told the hose was not tightly screwed on and the hose was ripped at the floor. Needless to say we could have blown up and died.We had to get a plumber who could not come out till the next day to fix it and relight all my gas in the house. We had to pay the plumber on a Saturday. The microwave we cancelled, we were told they didn’t have anyone down here to pick up or install it. Which took a number of phone calls to get this info. I’m just glad we’re ok.I must have a guardian Angel!

Extremely Disrespectful Experience with Appliance Staff:
I’ve never felt so disrespected or poorly treated by a store employee as I did during my recent visit.
We purchased a washer and dryer from the clearance section, and the floor models had parts inside them that we assumed would be included. However, when the items were delivered, those parts were missing. I called the store and was told that the washer and dryer should have come with those parts unless we specifically opted out.
Wanting to clarify, I visited the store and was directed to Diane in the appliance department. From the beginning, she treated me as if I was wrong for asking and made me feel belittled for even bringing it up. She then proceeded to talk about me in front of me to two coworkers and a manager.
When I asked about the plug (which was included), I said I was confused why nothing else came with the machines. Diane responded, “That shouldn’t have been with it, so you got that for free already,” and then laughed. I was then told to wait for her supervisor. At that point, I was overwhelmed and called my husband in tears—simply from how I was being treated for trying to get some basic clarification.
When the supervisor arrived, they gave me the missing parts without any explanation of what had happened. I thanked them and said, “Have a great day,” to which Diane loudly and sarcastically responded, “BYE BYE” in an extremely rude tone.
This entire experience left me shocked. I simply cannot believe someone whose job is to assist customers could act so unprofessionally. My husband has since tried to call the store to speak with Diane directly, not to escalate things, but just to understand if something we did may have triggered her reaction. No one has been responsive.
I truly hope Diane was just having a bad day and doesn’t treat all customers this way—but regardless, I will not be returning.

One of the worst Lowe’s experiences I’ve ever had.
My wife and I ordered appliances, we had issues with the delivery. At first the customer service rep was understanding and assured me the issue would be taken care of. Today, my wife went to potentially pick up the parts needed for installation. She was berated and ridiculed by Dianne in appliances. When I received news of this, I calmly called and asked to speak with her. And now Customer Service won’t even take my calls. I’ve never been one to go so far as write a review, so that should tell you how awful it was. If you have to get appliances, please make sure Lowe’s here in Cape May is one of the last options you take.

🚨 DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWE’S — ESPECIALLY LG! 🚨
We bought an LG washer and dryer and after the VERY FIRST run, it broke. Lowe’s only gives you a 24-hour return window, so by the time we found out, we were stuck.
Instead of helping, Lowe’s pushed us off to LG, who outsources repairs to an absolutely HORRIBLE company. They don’t answer calls, don’t communicate, and it takes WEEKS just to get a response. When the technician finally showed up, he yanked the washer and dryer out of the closet and then REFUSED to put them back when he left.
To top it all off, Lowe’s wouldn’t even install the unit in the first place — just because our home is on the second floor.
This has been nothing but a nightmare. Lowe’s won’t stand by their products, LG won’t stand by their products, and the so-called “service” is a complete joke. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the headache — go ANYWHERE else but here.
the phone number they leave as a comment to this is the people i’ve been dealing with who are aware of all these issues and caused them.
