Put in a service request with them and provided the model number and exactly what was wrong with the dryer. They said it would be $133 with tax to come out. Great sounds good. Service man shows up and doesn’t have a belt to fit the dryer and says he has to get it and come back later in the week to repair. Was a little annoyed since I provided them with everything they needed to come to my appointment prepared with the correct materials, but okay no problem. Service man was at my house for 10 minutes total. Comes back today to complete the repair and I get charged an ADDITIONAL $136. When I asked him about it he told me the original $133 was basically a “travel fee” for them to come out and the additional $136 was for parts and labor. I live in Mays Landing and they are in Pleasantville. $133 for a 15 minute travel fee when I already told them what the issue was is wild. So basically paid $270 to get a drum belt replaced. Absolute insanity. Next time I’ll just look up a YouTube video and do it myself or call someone to show up with the correct parts the first time. Would like to note that the service man himself was very nice and professional and I in no way am putting the blame on him. The company on the other hand is ripping people off and it’s a shame.
