I'm disgusted... For the general manager to lie and gaslight me the way he did is unacceptable... I called in 3 different occasions to cancel my order & request a refund, only for them to tell me they cannot refund, only corporate can? When was I gonna be told this information? Soooo...I call corporate & according to them, my order was NEVER CANCELED, a corporate associate processed the cancellation and also created a ticket and request a call back from a district manager.

On July 1st we placed an order online for our couch set (because let's face it in this economy who can afford to buy outright). For some reason our order got sent to the Pennsauken New Jersey location. When the order was confirmed we called them and explained we had a store within a 15 minute drive and we were sure why it didn't get sent to them instead. Pennsauken told us that they wouldn't deliver that far and sometimes this happens with online orders. Cool. We placed our order with the local Aaron's and was told Pennsauken would refund us as soon as the product was delivered to the store per corporate policy. Obviously I've never worked at Aaron's but that seems reasonable. We were told July 3rd it would be delivered and the refund would be sent. July 3rd: we called the Pennsauken store and they said call back on the 5th as it didn't get delivered. July 5th: called. Order still not in wait until Monday. July 8th: called, order in. Great we get the refund right? Wrong. July 11th: call still no refund they aren't sure why. July 12-20: call almost daily, escalate it to corporate. We keep getting told someone will call us back but no one has. Today July 30th almost an entire month later: called corporate explain that we will not be making further payments until this is rectified. Customer service rep tells us someone will call back, I explain we have been told that AT LEAST 4 other times. She tells me that she can only tell the store to call and they have 24 business hours to respond and refuses to answer further questions. Oh and that she sees a refund from the first. I said THEIR policy wouldn't even allowed that and she went "oh yeah" And moved on. This is absolutely ridiculous
