- NNNatJul 11, 20235.0New pool and spa owner and I have no idea what I’m doing. I had gone to a store closer to me but they were very rude and made me feel like I was bothering them. Then I stopped by this location after work and Layne was there working. They were by themselves in the store helping a couple other customers at the time but they greeted me and told me politely that they would be with me in a minute. I used this opportunity to walk around the toy and float area and found some cute floats. When Layne was done with the other customers they were very nice and helpful. I had a lot of questions as I don’t know anything about this and they were very informative and knowledgeable of all the chemicals and equipment I would need. They spent a good 30 minutes with me answering all my questions and never made me feel like I was bothering them. Even watching them interact with the other customers they were very kind and helpful. One customer had gotten a little bit rude and started getting angry for what seemed like no reason as I was listening and Layne didn’t say anything rude to them, but Layne kept calm and tried explaining to the customer the information. I will 100% be coming to this location from now on. Layne was incredibly helpful and very kind and is definitely the type of person that should be a manager because of how knowledgeable they were. I will say the price of the chemicals were a little more than I was expecting to spend but for the knowledge of Layne and other employees it makes it worth it. I feel like I’m in good hands here. Great job Layne!
