- JLJohnny LJun 26, 20201.0The pandemic hit , felt good time to install a pool for the kids, what was I thinking ? Spoke to the guys at Parsippany location for information , was gonna order online , until they told me they get a commission if ordered from the store , drive to store ordered pool told 4 to 6 weeks everything back ordered . Figuring ordering first week of May middle of June install would work. Scheduled install for 6 weeks out middle of June, only received half the shipment by second week of June called installer 5 days before install date let them know pool hasn’t arrive don’t want to hold you up, they said call when it arrives we will fit you in. Pool arrives 6/25 after trying to make numerous phone calls to Arizona where they keep you on hold for 60 mins each time. Call installer can’t install until 7/11 So my mid June plans end up hopefully being mid July because Leslie can’t deliver on the promise of 4 to 6 week delivery.,now going to wait another3 weeks. Customer service is the key to good business : 1.) Leslie should communicate better to there customers, explaining what’s happening with orders, 2.) Leslie needs better plan handling phone calls why are customers waiting 60 mins to speak to someone . 2.) pool installer recommended by Leslie’s should realize the pool is coming could be just week out , so rather then moving up everyone only move up a week of installs see if customers pool arrive so the earlier date is available, since customer booked prior to others. So in closing I would never shop Leslie’s for any pool supplies going forward or recommend them or installer. Thank You
