- WLWo LiJan 9, 20263.0The Customer Service staff needs more training on how to communicate with customers more professionally as well as the managers, (less attitude, less telling the customer they are wrong it's insulting, more willingness to help), not all but many don't have the right approach (emotional intelligence, starts at the top) it just makes matters worse. Also, with regards to providing conflicting information from person to person, not all are on the same page, they seem to be all over the place. It has been my experience the staff in the various departments lack the expertise\knowledge to provide the proper direction when asked about a product or process resulting in purchasing the wrong item, when asked specifically if this is all they need to accomplish a specific task. It's also hard to find someone to help, and when you do, in many occasions it gives the feeling you’re being brushed off. Although there have been times when the experience was a pleasant one.
- CNChristina NJan 3, 20265.0Every time I have gone into this location, the employees have been so kind and helpful as a woman I have consistently felt less comfortable in Home Depot whether I’m constantly being hit on or in one instance, the employee assumed that I didn’t know what I was doing because I was a “little miss that probably spent more time in the kitchen”. Lowe’s is the complete opposite of this. They also have a consistently better and more available section of doors than their nearby Home Depot neighbor.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
