They literally do not answer the phone and say please hold and immediately put you on hold and leave you there for 30 minutes. You need to call back again for it to ring and they pick up talk to you for a minute then put you on hold and don’t return. On top of this you have to deal with the 5 minute long of the AI before it’ll connect you.

We’ve always come to this Lowe’s in Paramus, but whenever we want to make a payment over the phone, we always have to wait longer than we should. The ProService staff aren't efficient—especially Debora, who is always chatting with customers who aren't buying anything and spends all her time on the phone. If I were the owner, I’d fire her; I don’t understand why they don’t check the security cameras.

Today I visited the Paramus Lowe’s to exchange a spray paint I had ordered online. The can I received was satin green instead of black, but the return desk handled the exchange quickly and without any issues.
The problem came when I went to the lumber aisle to buy a 2x4 and have it cut into 4‑inch pieces. The first employee told me they don’t cut pressure‑treated wood, which I understood. When I brought back a non‑pressure‑treated board, the employee suddenly raised his voice at me in front of several other workers, asking “What do you want?” and telling me they could only cut it in half. The tone and attitude were completely unnecessary and embarrassing.
I’m a man of faith and I don’t engage with that kind of behavior, so I simply put the lumber back, bought the rest of my items, and left. Unfortunately, this experience left me very disappointed, and I will have to think twice before returning to the Paramus location.
