We were greeted very nicely when we walked in by Mahamud who helped us look for what we wanted. He explained things thoroughly to us warranties, protection and did not put on any pressure to buy anything. We finally found what we wanted and bought it. It was a great experience thanks to Mahamud and the furniture was beautiful and of great quality.

Mona Rifai was an amazing agent to work with. She is very patient and professional. She listened to everything we wanted and worked to deliver exactly that. Looking forward to working with Mona again in the near future.
I have been looking for furniture for a few months and visited RF several times and each time Michael was very pleasant. Helpful when needed. I finally decided to make a purchase and Michael was not there but Sarah stepped in and helped me beautifully answering all questions I had and was supportive with my decision. Great team. I was glad to work with them both.
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Raymour and Flanigan. The delivery time for our furniture was completely unacceptable. What was promised as a reasonable timeframe turned into a long, frustrating wait with little to no communication or updates.
To make matters worse, it took multiple delivery attempts to even get the correct items. Each time, something was wrong—either the furniture arrived damaged or we were sent the completely wrong products. It was incredibly frustrating having to rearrange our schedule over and over again just to deal with their mistakes.
As if that wasn’t enough, I was also double charged for my purchase. Fixing the billing issue was another headache, and it only added to the overall frustration with this company.
Customer service was unhelpful when we tried to address the delays, incorrect deliveries, and billing problems. It felt like once they had our money, they didn’t care about the experience anymore.
Overall, I would not recommend purchasing from Raymour & Flanigan if you value timely delivery, accurate orders, fair billing, quality products, and good customer service. It took five months to get a crib set for our newborn baby. I don't recommend buying anything from them especially baby cribs. Your baby will turn 1 years old by the time you receive your stuff.
This was my first purchase from Raymour & Flanigan and unfortunately it will likely be my last. This was a huge disappointment—especially considering how much I spent.
The problems started with delivery. The delivery team actually left my brand-new couch pillows on the backyard lawn as if they were outdoor furniture, piled on the dirt for bugs to crawl on and birds to leave droppings. My landlord saw them and thought someone had dumped garbage in the yard, not pillows from a newly delivered couch, and brought it to my attention. I was horrified.
When I asked my boyfriend what he witnessed, it became clear the pillows were used as buffers against the wall while the couch and dresser were brought through, and the remaining pillows were simply left outside. That level of carelessness is unacceptable for a company that promotes itself as a quality furniture retailer.
The experience only got worse from there. The dresser delivered to my apartment turned out to be far too bulky for the space. When I contacted customer service, they told me to call the store manager at the North Brunswick location. I explained what happened on delivery day and the issue with the dresser. Instead of offering any apology or trying to help, the manager immediately told me the sale was final and there was nothing she could do.
No apology. No accountability. No attempt to resolve the issue.
I purchased these items at full price from the store, not from an outlet or an “as-is” sale, so the dismissive response was shocking and unprofessional.
I even went back to the store hoping to find a smaller piece that would work for my apartment and possibly move the bulky dresser myself just to make the situation workable. Unfortunately, I still couldn’t find any resolution.
I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly with the store before posting this review, but no effort was made to address the delivery issue or offer any reasonable solution.
At this point, I have no interest in doing business with this location again—or with Raymour & Flanigan at all if this is how customers are treated after spending thousands of dollars.
Customer care and service is clearly lacking here, and this experience showed me exactly where this company falls short.
