  I want to share my excellent experience with Extra Space Storage located at 7020 Kennedy Boulevard. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding. The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions or needs. What really stood out to me was the customer service—they took the time to explain everything clearly and helped me choose the perfect storage space for my needs. I would especially like to recognize Jose Hernandez Kristian and Joe—these employees provide truly exceptional customer service and go above and beyond to help. I highly recommend this location to anyone. Truly an excellent experience from start to finish!

  Oh man such a guy! He was more than helpful, he greeted me with respect. Knew every answer to everyone question I had, and was very patient as well. Great customer service skills and looking forward to be a returning customer.

  I had a great experience working with Jose at Extra Space Storage. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and clearly knows his stuff. He made the whole process easy to understand and took the time to walk through all the details without rushing. You can tell he takes pride in his work. He really goes above and beyond! The facility is spotless, secure, and very well kept. It made a big difference knowing everything is clean and organized.

  This is not a review of the employees because I never interacted with them, but I sincerely hope this company receives my feedback to better their business. Rental: Pretty easy - except they added “administrative” fees and a $20 lock charge 😑. Confirmation: Six emails and one of them was a map to my unit. The most CONFUSING map I have ever seen. We will revisit this point later. And of course they rented me the furthest unit Arrival: There was not a directional sign on the property. I parked in the front to investigate where my unit was. You guessed it - I went in the wrong door. I wandered through the maze of units for an hour and a half. AN HOUR AND A HALF. There are some signs on SOME corners that show “unit 400-600” but it would have extremely helpful if there were elaborate signs or maps (ie. you are here) on the elevator banks or periodically down the hallways. Also, the place where they show stairs on the map? They must be ghost stairs, because they weren’t there Furthermore, one elevator had only 1 and 2 floors, the other had three : L, 1, 2. My unit was apparently on the lower level. So naturally I thought L was it…nope. I had to go outside - move my car through a sketchy loading dock - with, again, no directional signs. But one green door saying “entrance 1”. I went through the door and was hit with the fragrant aroma of someone smoking a cigarette in the building. Not that they smoked outside and walked in - they were smoking in the building. I don’t want my personal items tainted by cigarette smoke. You would think with all the cameras that someone would catch whomever is smoking. I walked through the maze and finally got to the end of the long journey to unit 1518. I was startled by another tenant that was either entering or vacating. He was very nice but informed me: “Hey, I wouldn’t come here at night by yourself, because there’s a guy living in the unit right there. He was here the whole time I’ve been here and just left”. I turned around, called customer service and ended my lease. The customer service rep couldn’t have been nicer and told me that he would handle it personally. This morning I received a full refund - via 4 emails. But no one called me to apologize - which would have been nice. Just - really a weird and scary experience. Also, as someone who has been in the service industry all my life, I would never operate a business like this. I rented another unit at Snap, which was larger, cheaper with no hidden fees.
