  I wrote a prior review that was positive about this business. That review turned out to be incorrect due to misrepresentations by the facility management. I signed up for a unit for $33.00 per month in November. There was no disclosure that this was an introductory, limited time, or teaser rate. Extra Space sent a notice doubling the per-month charge in February. Did they increase the rate by 5% - no, 10% - no, 20% - no, 50% - no. They increased it 100%!!! On February 9th, I called Ryan at the phone number listed on the rate increase notice to discuss the rate change. He said that he would look into the rate change. He called me on February 12th when he told me that the rate would remain $33. Based on this conversation, I wrote my earlier review. Guess what – in March, I received a notice increasing the rate by over 71%! I called, questioned the rate increase, and told them about my February conversations with Ryan. The representative first denied that they employed someone named Ryan. (In mid-April, a 3/5/26 Yelp review by Monica G. mentioned Ryan’s name and referred to him as the manager. Yet Extra Space did not know who Ryan was?) After I told her what I discussed with Ryan, she then said she would have to review them and call me back. She did not. I received a call from a different Extra Space representative. He was abrupt and said the new rate was the new rate. He said to check the local rates. So, in April 2026, I checked this company’s website for local rates. The Extra Space Storage location is currently offering the same size unit, with the same features, climate-controlled, elevator access, for $26.00 per month for four months. Nothing on their website indicates that the $26.00 monthly rate is an introductory, limited time, or teaser rate. In my opinion, the way this business treats its customers is abhorrent. When you rent the unit, you must pay an administrative fee of $29.00. You cannot use a padlock on their rental units; instead, you have to buy their lock for $19.95. You then invest your time in putting your goods into the rental unit. After investing both your money and your time, you see a significant rate increase! In my opinion, it reeks of bait-and-switch tactics.

  Ryan is a gem, he helped walk me through everything I needed answered and then some. Telling me everything from step 1 to step 10 and I feel leaving here today so much more confident in what I’m doing while storing my items. Thank you so much Ryan

  The Front Desk worker Ryan with there and beyond assisting me. Very Nice. Unlike most storages I've experiencing in the past my experience here was more pleasant and less complicated. Plus the prices are affordable.

  Bait and switch. They double your rate right after you sign up and then double it again if you're still using them. I would not recommend them to anyone. This business needs to be regulated, nothing but scammers.

  So far, our experience at this storage facility has been positive. The property is well maintained, and there are more than enough carts available to transport furniture with ease. The staff is polite, professional, and always willing to assist. We have been in contact with Ryan since renting our unit, and he has been extremely helpful in resolving any small hurdles along the way. Yes, the fee increased after I was told by online customer service that it wouldn't. Ryan was extremely helpful in resolving this issue.
