I went to Lowe's 11.17.25 to order a vanity for my bathroom. They stated they did not have one in stock, and I would be contacted when it arrived. Meanwhile, since I paid for installation, the sub contractor came and measured. Dec, no vanity, January, no vanity, called twice, not restocked. The last time I called, they identify you by phone number which then gives them order number. No order found. I was listening to a ringing phone for 10 minutes, called back, put on hold again. So, now I have to go there. Much to my surprise as they are looking up my order, they seem perplexed because it stated they have 5 in-stock! So now they decide to refund the entire order( which has been paid in full) and do it over again. I did get a small discount of $132.00. The sales woman gives me a delivery date of 2.18.26, she stated a Monday. I told her I work till 2 so it have to be later in the day so it can be brought into the house. I get home and realize that date is a Wednesday, so which day is it coming, Monday or Wednesday. Turns out it's Monday, call Humble trucking, the vendor they use, leave a detailed message. Get home from work and its sitting in front of my house. Call humble again, they do not answer their phones or return calls. Luckily I contacted the sub and he came over and brought it in. This was by the far the worst service I have experienced to date. I also looked up Humble trucking, all 1 star reviews, why Lowe's would use such a disreputable vendor is still unclear. I do have a credit on the Lowe's cc , once that's used I will never set foot in that store again. The employees were helpful and apologetic.

These charges are likely authorization holds that are placed throughout the life cycle of your order to ensure the funds are reserved for your purchase. When you place an order, your payment method is authorized for the full amount of the purchase. As items from your order ship, your payment is charged and the authorization is no longer held by Lowe’s.
