    I had a very disappointing experience at Lowe’s. They attempted to charge me more than the price clearly advertised online. When I asked about it, I was told that I had to purchase it online to receive that price — even though nowhere did it state “online only.” The situation got worse when the manager, Dan, became extremely rude to my wife. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, he lectured her, saying that if he honored the price for five customers a day, they would “lose money.” That’s not the customer’s concern, especially when Lowe’s publicly advertises price matching (except they “can’t beat their own price,” apparently). To make matters worse, they went ahead and processed the purchase online themselves just to avoid honoring the in store price difference, which then caused a security issue with my credit card. All of this over a $30 difference. Completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I will not be returning. There’s a Home Depot right up the road, and they’ll be getting my business instead. The microwave I currently have on order with Lowe’s will be canceled and purchased from Home Depot. Very disappointing experience.

    My disabled veteran husband and elderly father were told today the store has 8 snow blowers in stock but they are in the back and aren't putting them out till tomorrow. So now they both have to go out the day of the worst storm were about to have in 50 years to go back and get what the store already has. The second and last time I will ever shop at this horrible location. Its worth the drive to toms river where they actually know what customer service is, especially when its a veteran.

    Bought a Toro lawnmower $500 in May of this year at manahawkin nj Lowes. Stalled after 10 minutes of use. Took 30 minutes to start again and kept happening. Well Lowe’s won’t do anything. Said to call Toro who are useless. Told me to call Briggs and Stratton who made the engine. They told me various things to do. Took it to an authorized B&S service center. Said it was repaired. Same thing. Took it to another service center. Same thing. It is now December and I have a lawnmower that don’t work. No one will help me with this. Apparently after they sell it they don’t care about the consumer. I will be a Home Depot customer going forward. My next stop will be consumer affairs. Well that phone number was a waste of my time. I got a person I could barely understand and she told me she couldn’t help me that it was the wrong department. I will start my case with consumer affairs.
