Our story began during WWII. Kalman Drebin, founder of Certified Alarm Distributors invented the concept of 'Radar Technology' for the US Army. His career continued as an engineer for the Bulova watch factory. Using the technology of Radar, Mr. Drebin founded his own company called 'Radar Sentry' and installed the first motion detector, used to deter burglaries in a friend's factory. Through word of mouth, his installation company grew, employing 30 installers.
in 1976 Kalman founds Certified Alarm - one of the first distributors for Low voltage equipment in the US.
