    We purchased a clearance item online and went to customer service at the Lowe’s JC location because the product was defective and did not work. We were told by the associate, Noquiita, that clearance items are not eligible for refunds, even if defective, and she was very rude during the interaction. She also stated that she would not continue assisting my husband because she felt he “wasn’t understanding,” despite the fact that the issue was simply that the product did not function. Fortunately, the store manager understood the situation and resolved it by providing us with a store credit. While we appreciate the manager’s assistance, the way this situation was initially handled by the associate was unprofessional and unnecessary.

    This review is to note that a woman name Carmen in the appliances department at Lowes was very helpful. I purchased a stackable washer and dryer that was delivered damaged and I was eager to reschedule another one. I was not having luck with two other employees in the department but Carmen took care to connect me with the distribution center.

    Terrible service and very rude. I had a lumber package for house build that I am working on that I ordered and paid in full that was set to be delivered on Monday morning. Not only did they not show up but I received no phone call or communication about at all. I called to speak to M.O.D. and was assured delivery would be out the next day. On Tuesday morning the same thing I have a crew set to start framing and once again no show from Lowes. I called back into store to speak to M.O.D. and was deflected to an associate who was very rude and did not care as a matter of fact about my position and the fact I was still waiting on 10 thousand dollar lumber package and paying guys who were now waiting on delivery for two days. I explained that of they couldn't live up to there end of the deal I would have to cancel order and get materials at different supplier. The unprofessional associate says to me...OK I will go ahead and process your request.. My order was cancelled and reason she put was out of stock. BAD BUSINESS !! I did receive full order of lumber package the very next morning 7am from Florid Forest Products and at a lower cost and premium quality lumber. I did however receive my refund promptly. I would not return nor refer any contractors because this could negatively and directly affect my business.
