  We reached out to JPD for help transforming the first floor of our new condo. Joan and her team went above and beyond to design a thoughtful layout that truly met the evolving needs of our family. Her team incorporated our initial aspirations for the space and fully transformed each room into an incredibly warm, inviting and functional environment, with an elevated but approachable design aesthetic. JPD took what would have been a cumbersome process and turned it into a smooth and organized experience. We really enjoyed working with Joan and her team. They are highly collaborative, responsive, and truly think through the needs of their clients to deliver and exceed all expectations. We loved seeing the team's creative ideas evolve into the wonderfully curated spaces we use and love today. We absolutely recommend her and her team to those looking for a phenomenal interior design firm! Thanks to JPD for making this project a great end-to-end experience and look forward to enlisting this team on future projects in our home.

  What you and your team designed is beautiful, yet comfortable and warm. Your vision changed our stark white rooms to beautiful spaces. We bought this apartment for the view, your sheer window coverings in the main living area allow us to take full advantage of the view of the river and Manhattan. We are enjoying each and every special touch your team put together for us. I personally like all the vintage furniture, the proportions are great, and a bit unexpected in a modern and new high-rise building. The pottery is another favorite. The unique shapes and sizes give interest to the rooms and carry the design, providing continuity throughout the apartment. It was a pleasure working with you and the JPD team.

  We love what Joan and her entire team did in our home! We worked with Joan on our living room and dining room. Her team immediately came up with ideas we were excited to explore, including doing a built-in in our narrow dining room to maximize the space. We wanted the space to fit our extended family for holidays and get together, be put together but not formal, and be a place to have dinner daily if we wanted. They delivered beyond what we had hoped. The project was finished right before Covid, and it was a magical place for our family to gather daily for meals—we never thought we would appreciate a room more than we have this one. Not far behind is our living room—a place we enjoy daily. It is beautiful, functional, and inviting. Exactly what we wanted for our two young boys and us. We highly recommend Joan and her team!

  The duplex we purchased was designed by J. Patryce Design and we hired them after to furnish and decorate. We could not be happier and love our home! Joan has impeccable taste and very high standards. We really did not know what we wanted to do with our home except we were working on a budget and needed the space functional for our growing family. Joan was able to take the lead with minimal direction from us and create an environment that is perfect for our family. She designed custom built-ins, selected and installed wallpaper and window treatments, and picked out and installed all our furniture, lighting, and decor. We trusted them throughout the whole process and it was a completely stress-free experience for us. Joan went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect and any punch list items were addressed immediately. We could have never come up with the design or managed the process ourselves. We highly recommend J. Patryce Design and using them was a great investment.
