    I am updating my previous review following a response from Lowe’s asking me to contact their customer service team. Honestly, I should have saved my time. I called today at approximately 9:15 AM and spoke with a representative named Jay. It was one of the most bizarre and dismissive customer service experiences I’ve ever had. For the majority of the call, Jay sat on the line in total silence like a mute. When I finally asked why I was even requested to call back, his only response was, “To tell you our policy.” I explained that I was already well aware of the policy and asked to speak with someone else who might actually have more information regarding why a follow-up was requested. His response? “They will tell you the same thing.” He remained completely silent and dismissive for the remainder of the interaction. I spent about 8 to 10 minutes essentially talking to myself before eventually hanging up out of pure frustration. It is mind-boggling to see this level of incompetence and lack of basic communication skills at every level of this organization. If you’re going to ask a customer to reach out to "make things right," at least have staff on the other end who are willing to speak. Do better 0/5 Stars - Absolute Shameful Customer Service I will never purchase anything from Lowe’s Home Improvement stores ever again. A week ago, I purchased a batch of electrical outlets, covers, and switches from the Rutherford, NJ location. Because I am funding a home project through a home equity line of credit, I have been paying with cash instead of a card. I needed to return some of the items that were still brand new, unopened, and in their original packaging. Even though every single item scanned perfectly into their system and proved that it was their exact stock, they flat-out refused to issue a refund because I didn’t have the paper receipt. To refuse a refund on brand-new, verifiable store stock is a terrible way to treat customers. This is an absolute shame, and they have officially lost my business for good. Go to a local hardware store or a competitor instead—at least they value their customers.

    I shopped at Lowes on March 30, 2026. I paid for a Refrigerator and paid for shipment to be delivered on April 2, 2026, No Show, or Call. I spoke to the customer service rep at 10 am and at 12 pm wondering if it will be delivered. 1st call, its on its way, 2nd call, we, they forgot to load it for delivery so I called again to set up a New date for delivery for April 3 between 11:30 to 3:30 and No Show, No Call. On the phone with customer Service looking for the order. Yes, they are quick to sell you Everything but never meeting with up to customers order!!! Buyers Beware of this Store. No 2nd chances ever for Lowes here in Bergen County next to Home Depot and Walmart!!!!

    Customer service is ill prepared and not helpful. Don’t bother calling you will be shuffled around by the AI machine wasting your time. The associates in their paint department have no clue what’s going on and are not prepared or equipped to help you find a solution. You will speak to several people before even receiving any kind of proper response or be told to call back and wait. I was called by this location to confirm paint order. The gentleman on the phone said ok and hung up. Then I received a cancellation, and called to understand why. I was transferred 2x before somebody picked up. They denied the cancellation and then I asked what are my options and how can i get my color. The Second Gentleman again said there are no cancelled orders there are only two of us here and neither of us cancelled it. I said i understand can you please help me find the paint color i need. And he says I’ll need to call back or wait 20 min and they’ll call me back. At that point I was no longer interested with due to their tone and dismissive attitude I received.

    Sadly the workers are not to worry in helping wen we need. Personally I've been wanting for more than 10 min. Asking for help. The answer was is not my department I'll call somebody.
