  I came into the storage store today and I was greeted by the employee Rose. She had amazing customer service skills and was very understanding and helpful with all the things that I needed help with. she is a fantastic worker and I hope that other people get this treatment as well.

  Do NOT recommend. Moth ball scent in facility ruined my whole unit and items inside. And manager, Matt, was dismissive and inappropriately managed my complaints. Extremely disappointed. I have deep disappointment regarding my recent experience with this storage facility. I vacated my unit after storing my belongings there for four months. Upon removal of my items, I immediately noticed a very strong mothball odor throughout the facility. Unfortunately, this smell had permeated and saturated many of my belongings to an extreme degree. Most concerning is that my mattress and two couches have absorbed the odor so heavily that they are essentially ruined and unusable. The smell is so severe that it cannot be removed, requiring me to replace these items entirely at my own expense. Notably, I did not store any mothballs or odor-producing materials in my unit, which leads me to believe the source of the smell originated elsewhere within the building. The damage to my larger furniture items is significant and costly. They facilty and team did not care. There is absolutely no reason for moth balls in a climate controlled facility. I specifically sought out a climate controlled unit and paid extra for it, it is unacceptable. I spoke with the manager, Matt, and also at the corporate level and that was even more DISAPPOINTING. They essentially diminished all of my complaints and used dishonesty to cover up their track. Matt said he doesn’t smell it and doesn’t know anything about the both balls. Meanwhile, I had 3 professional movers enter the facility and immediately expressed the for and exclaimed “there must be 100 moth balls in here, which is unnecessary.” Their customer service and reaction without and resolve was not appropriate. Again, extremely disappointed in the faculty as well as Matt and Extra Space Storage as a whole— poor customer service. Do not use this facility. Matt said I can “use photos” for a review or file a claim… there is no photo evidence that can be used to show completely damaged and ruin soft goods secondary to severe odor…
