I was just in this lowes on rt 23 grabbing specific things I needed. I needed a new trim for a door and paint for our kitchen. I waited for someone for paint for 10 minutes and than said forget that. For the trim I spent like 20 minutes and ended up finding a set that said it was on clearance. Something told me to take a picture. At the register the molding came up regularly price. The manager came over and I showed him the picture with all the same trim as what I grabbed in a spot with a clearance price. He than started to state that the numbers dont match and that its something I should of checked. I than said no, its not my job to check its your job as a manager to make sure your team is filling and labeling things correctly. He than said he does not have to honor the price and so at that point I put everything else i was getting onto the counter and left. Disgusting customer service and this wasnt the first time that happen.

Poor Customer Service, went in to purchase a new over, 1st was told (Adan) they didn't have the one I was looking for, but I found it myself, next I was told that I couldn't get installed because I needed Propane conversion. I went to the Service/Returns desk to inquire some more. One person told I couldn't not purchase it because I needed to get a permit (untrue). Next person at the said that they would ask someone else , (I stated clearly online I could purchase with the installation and propane conversion). Tom than came up and said yes you could and took me to the appliance area, to show the other employee how to do it. As I was going through with the purchase I was given two different prices, so I stopped there and didn't proceed. As I was walking out I stopped at the service desk area, where they said they wanted to check if I had any questions. I told them of the situation, and they actually told me that I should purchase online, and I would get a better price.

We visited Lowe’s on April 26, 2025 to purchase a front door with sidelights and a storm door. We found a design we liked and placed an order. Unfortunately, the project started off poorly. The individual who came to measure only measured for the storm door and not the entire door with sidelights, which required us to schedule a second measurement appointment. Once the correct measurements were completed, the order was finally placed. It took approximately four months for the door to be built. On August 28, the door was delivered to our home. Upon inspection, we discovered that the wood on one of the sidelights was cracked. Given the amount of money we paid, we did not feel it was acceptable to receive a damaged product. Contacting Lowe’s for support was extremely time-consuming. The automated phone system made it difficult to reach the appropriate department, and we were repeatedly transferred between supervisors, often different individuals each time. As a result, we had to stay constantly on top of the situation ourselves. Because Lowe’s would not allow a replacement order without first retrieving the damaged door, we reordered the door on September 2. Surprisingly, the replacement door was built in less than one month and delivered on September 23. Unfortunately, this door was not what we ordered. The molding was white instead of the specified color, and the sidelights had a completely different window design compared to the first order. Although very frustrated, we were still willing to continue working with Lowe’s. However, no one proactively contacted us to resolve the issue, and we spent nearly two additional months going back and forth. The Lowes worker (Tatiana) who helped us with door designed ignored our emails and calls. At this time, we had to go to another associate. Eventually, Lowe’s informed us that the original sidelight window design could not be recreated because the manufacturer had produced it in error. We were told there was no way to make the design we originally ordered. Because we loved the original sidelight design, we agreed to accept the first door despite the initial crack, with the intention of hiring a professional to repair it. When we viewed the door at the store, there was some additional minor damage from transportation, which we were willing to accept. On December 13, the door was delivered again, but this time it was severely damaged. The door was off its hinges, the top molding was broken, and the condition was far worse than when we had last inspected it in the store. The delivery company claimed the door arrived that way, which was not true. A Lowe’s employee, Tom, (which I worked with most of the time after Tatiana ) had previously inspected the door with me. There was no way I would accept that door if I seen that damage at the store. The damage was so extensive that the installer, Mike, refused to install the door. After months of delays, errors, and mismanagement, I canceled the order entirely. This project resulted in months of wasted time with nothing accomplished. Although I have two Home Depot locations near me and traveled further to shop at Lowes, I will no longer do so after this experience. I am extremely disappointed in Lowe’s handling of this entire process. I strongly advise against having projects completed through Lowe’s. Trust me, the process was stressful, poorly managed, and time-consuming. I would recommend using a smaller company instead. While the cost may be slightly higher, the accountability, communication, and overall experience are well worth it.
