So much for Kobalt’s “hassle-free lifetime warranty.” I arrived at the store in Brick, NJ and asked customer service about a warranty claim for a tool I brought in. The staff member, who seemed miserable, immediately said it wasn’t covered. I told them it was and that I had already checked online.
Then they told me I would have to come back tomorrow because no one in the store could handle the warranty at that time. I explained that the warranty is supposed to be “hassle-free,” but they refused to do anything about it.
This is probably why the store is always empty, while the Home Depot down the street has a parking lot that’s hard to find a space in. I even walked to the tool section and found the exact tool I brought in, and right on the front of the package it clearly says “Lifetime Hassle-Free Warranty.”
Do better, Lowe’s.

The Lowe’s in Brick, NJ is a fantastic store. The staff are consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. If you have a question or are trying to find something, someone is always nearby who is happy to point you in the right direction or offer advice. That level of customer service really makes the experience stand out.
The store itself is clean, well organized, and easy to navigate. Shelves are well stocked and it is easy to find what you need whether you are working on a small home repair or a larger project. The garden center is also very well maintained and has a great selection.
Another big plus is the parking. There is plenty of space and it is easy to get in and out without the hassle you sometimes see at other big box stores. Overall, this Lowe’s location does a great job providing a pleasant shopping experience with excellent staff and a well run store.

This is the worst store ever. When I placed an order they said it was in stock and installer would call me in 2-3 days. Three days later in the late afternoon I called Lowe’s installation number and they said we can’t help it not in stock and not scheduled for installation. Once they got the item they scheduled installation and no showed. Tried to reschedule me 10 days out after the no show. Got my own installer and they were supposed to deliver my carpet in the morning. Managers and departments don’t pick up the phone AT ALL. Stay far far away from this store!!!

I had a great experience with Catherine today, she was very knowledgeable about the tile we were looking for and helped up through every step of the process and choosing what we needed to complete our project. Having other projects we will be working on as well, I’m glad we found someone we can go back to next time for help.

ordered a kerosene heather and 3 containers of fuel. Got a delivery confirmation from the "driver". 2 Of the items were delivered to the WRONG HOUSE. When I called Lowes to sort the issue, I got a run around from the manager of the Brick NJ store. She said she could not get any answers from the delivery company... I asked for the number and called myself. The dispatcher could NOT GET IN TOUCH with his driver, in essence the driver delivered 2 of the cheapest items to the WRONG house and KEPT THE 2 MOST EXPENSIVE ITEMS. Called Lowes back and got a run around again. Cancelled the order. LOWES and WALMART use 3rd party companies like SPARK, INSTACART and ONLINE deliveries. THE PEOPLE WORKING FOR THESE DRIVING PLATFORMS DO NOT SPEAK ENGLISH NOR DO THEY GIVE A SHIT ABOUT WHAT AND WHERE THEY DELIVER. THIS DRIVER MADE OFF WITH $300 WORTH OF PRODUCT. We had another issue with LOWES regarding a carpet install, they never called to cancel because of weather, we had to chase them down for 2 weeks. LOWES IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CARING ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. CANCELLING OUR CARDS, HOME DEPOT IS THE GO TO ALWAYS.
