This store was ok, the staff could have been more helpful. When I asked them questions I was told that is not my area rather than trying to help or find someone else that could help. On the bright side they have one of the nicest bathrooms I have ever seen in a store.

Hobby Lobby is hands down one of the most frustrating, outdated, and poorly run retail stores I’ve ever had the displeasure of stepping into. What should have been a quick, simple shopping trip turned into a complete waste of time, energy, and patience. First off, the store layout is an absolute disaster. Nothing is clearly labeled, aisles make zero sense, and finding what you’re looking for feels like being trapped in a poorly designed maze. Items are scattered randomly, and half the shelves look like they haven’t been organized or restocked properly in weeks. For a craft store, you’d think organization would be a priority—but clearly not here. The employees? Completely unhelpful. Most of them either look annoyed that you exist or flat-out avoid eye contact so they don’t have to assist you. When you do manage to find someone, they rarely know where anything is and give vague, dismissive answers like “it should be somewhere over there.” Over where? The entire store is “over there.” Then there’s the checkout experience—an absolute nightmare. Only a couple of registers open despite a long line, cashiers moving at a snail’s pace, and zero sense of urgency. It feels like the company actively refuses to modernize. No self-checkout, no barcode scanners that actually work efficiently, and don’t even get me started on the fact that they still refuse to use basic modern technology that every other retailer figured out years ago. The prices are another joke. Everything is overpriced, and the so-called “sales” feel misleading and confusing. Items are marked one way on the shelf and ring up differently at checkout, which of course becomes your problem to resolve while holding up the line. God forbid you try to return something—expect resistance, judgment, and unnecessary complications. And let’s talk atmosphere. The store feels oddly tense and uncomfortable, like you’re not actually welcome unless you fit a very specific mold. Shopping should be neutral and stress-free, but Hobby Lobby somehow manages to make it feel awkward and unpleasant. Overall, Hobby Lobby is stuck in the past in every possible way. Poor customer service, chaotic layout, outdated systems, and an overall unpleasant vibe make this a place I will actively avoid going forward. There are plenty of other craft stores that are cleaner, friendlier, more inclusive, and actually respect their customers’ time. Save yourself the headache. Go literally anywhere else.

Stopped in to get contact cement. Website doesn't show if items are in stock or where they're located. Aisles are not labeled. Stuff is scattered throughout the store. Employees don't know where things are. I shouldn't have to search every aisle in a craft store for 40 minutes just to find glue.
